Reaching Seville from Madrid

There are three ways to get to Seville from Madrid:

  • By plane: If you fly to Barajas Airport (MAD) in Madrid, the easiest way to reach Seville is by taking another flight to Seville. Your local travel agency can inform you about connections Madrid-Seville (Flights are leaving from Terminal 4 of Barajas Airport).     The Airport of Seville is about 10 km from the city center. There is a good service of taxi and bus ("EA" service) connecting the airport with the city center. Information about these services are available at

    Sevilla Airport (AENA)


    The timetable of the bus service "EA" is available at TUSSAM website (PDF file information available at http://www.tussam.es). After reaching the stop "Prado", you can take bus line 34 or 35 to reach the venue (stop Reina Mercedes ESI Informática.

  • By train: You can also travel easily from Madrid to Seville by train (RENFE AVE - Spanish High Speed train, lasts 2h 30'). Trains to Seville depart from Atocha Train Station.     If you arrive to Madrid by plane and you want to travel to Seville by train you can go from the Airport to the train station by bus or taxi, but the cheapest and fastest way is the commuter train and the underground.

  • By bus: It is the cheapest way to get from Madrid to Seville, although the trip takes about six hours. Buses depart from "Estacion Sur" (Mendez Alvaro s/n, local 3-4) which can be reached by taxi or underground, and the bus company is Socibus.
