Abstract:
Cooperation happens when an individual pays a cost to distribute
benefits to other individuals. Using Evolutionary Game Theory one can
study the evolution of cooperation by considering costs and benefits
as fitness. Natural selection favors defectors over cooperators.
However we show that several mechanisms can be introduced to explain
the presence of cooperation between reproducing entities.
