Research interests

I am interested on developing general purpose software tools for simulating bio-inspired computing models, specifically, for P systems. I am also interested on developing new simulation algorithms for P systems. Other topics that I would like to study are genome assembly and annotation, new P systems based models for biology and physics, simulation of P systems in parallel platforms, and how this simulators can be used in order to develop a P system implementation.
